Palladium nanoparticles supported on synthetic graphite powder were prepared by deposition of palladium from Pd2dba3 solution in chloroform. The deposition was performed under mild conditions at 50 °C, while the solution was stirred for 4 hours. The amount of palladium on the support was 0.5%. The nanoparticles ranged from 5 to 7 nm in diameter.
